Hiring entry level recruiter trainees vs. experienced recruiters!
1 - In theory, it is easier to hire experienced recruiters because they should not require much training compared to entry level.
2 - However, let's be honest about the facts and truth. There are more companies that are terrible at training recruiters than are good at training recruiters.
If you search LinkedIn to find recruiters you will see thousands who have years of experience yet would fail if you hired them.
A - Much of a recruiter's success are the systems, tools and database they work with at a specific company. When changing to another company that does not have these same systems and tools the recruiter cannot replicate their success. When they cannot replicate success they are fired. Happens all the time!
B - If you were to interview "experienced recruiters and even recruiting leaders" and dig deep, you would think Oh My God so many are clueless and lack the experience they should have based on their time in recruiting.
Our point is if hiring "experienced recruiters" hoping to avoid training entry level, the odds of failure are more than 50%.
The only way to have control over success vs. failure with recruiting is to train people to work and recruit your way. Same as in sales or any results oriented type of job.
Hiring people with experience from other companies almost never works out as expected.
We can provide you with people in the DR who are good personality and work experience matches to be recruiter trainees. We can hire and payroll the people to work for you.
We can suggest ideas for a 30/60/90 training process and we can tell you exactly what we have observed as causes of success vs. failure by comparing over 100 staffing firms and corporations we have worked with.
You should be the Boss, you should have control over how your recruiters are trained as this is the only way to control success vs failure.
